Salt and Water

I wanted to show you a picture of my art journal.  I've only just started this page but, I wanted to do the technique of using salt on watercolor.  In this case, I use dylusions inks in multiple colors and then sprayed it with a little water to make it very wet.  While wet I heavily sprinkled it with Kosher salt.  Once it was dry, the salt brushes right off.  I like the effect as it makes a visually interesting backround.  I've seen this technique used a lot for snowy backrounds or used for a sky.  I certainly is fun!
